Gather youselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you.
Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. (Zephaniah, 2: 1-3)
Be forewarned, millions of loyal readers all, this blogsite must change.
We can no longer afford to dally in the inner sanctums of neo-contemplative inspiration but must become directly reflective of the bible’s irrefutable prophetic voice.
In other words, we must now start screaming the truth from this wilderness.
Prepare ye the day of the Lord, America!
Can you not feel it? Are we not surrounded by enemies who want us dead while we check ourselves out in the mirror?
We drivel on about freedom while we mask our greed and we heed not the signs above and about. Nation, we are doomed. We talk about the election and the hope that is descending on our nation and maybe there is hope. But that hope only exists because of the Lord, and if we go on ignoring the fact that we are one nation under God, if we go on allowing our corporations to ignore the integral Christian faith of this nation, then the Lord will bring his doomsday upon us.
One day we will wake up under a Caliphate, and we will see how wrongly we have lived. Then we will not be able to exercise our “freedom of religion,” because it will be chosen for us. We will miss the days of “Merry Christmas” and we will be forbidden to have them back.
The Lord uses our enemies to punish us. But there is still hope.
We eye with suspicion the hordes of migrant workers pouring in over our southern border. But we are dead wrong to view them as “barbarians.” They are a godsend for us. Many of the Mexicans and Guatemalans and El Salvadorans and — yes, even, Venezuelans — are persons of deep and reliable faith who could not have undertaken the odyssey to the EE.UU without that faith. We need them. Perhaps we need to learn how to engage them for the spiritual help we need to stave off the other invasions — that of non-Christian faiths, extreme-permissivism, atheism, nihilism and evilism that has begun its slow descent on the American soul.
If you happen to read this, pray for our broken nation. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the only option today. Try to convert at least one heathen or correct at least one heretic. And if you can’t do that, spend 15 minutes or so reading the bible and another 15 minutes praying for the faith and, if everyone in America does that, God will give us the supernatural strength to rise above the inevitable imperial decline. We don’t have to end up in the circular file of nations along with Rome, Greece, and other empires yet! But if we don’t heed the same warnings the Israelites ignored from their own prophets (major and minor), we will experience a rather sudden demise.
