Praise #54

Thou liftest dead spirits life-ward

and seekest lost souls, discovering the Lookers

Thou setteth wrong-movers right-ward

but those cemented in evil, Thou douseth with righteous hail

those who wait on Later… despair!

Thy tears resound from all worthy places

O, Good Shepherd-Lord, when Thou inclineth Thine ear

unto the minutiae of our contents,

certainly Thy greatness surroundeth us,

certainly a perfect plan descendeth upon us,

certainly we’ll walketh freely over Thy fronds

showing the hope to all darkened eyes

Nice blog. I love reading through these praises!

Thanks! Writing praises to the Almighty has become a daily practice for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone. (They don’t have to be in KJ English, they can be in any vernacular. God understands all tongues — that’s why He gave us so many at Pentecost!)

Sorry for the delay in acknowledging your comment — it got spam-blocked! I don’t know why, but now I know I need to check the blocked comments more frequently.
