Thy Blessing Is Not Made with Hands

For Christ hath not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. (Hebrews 9:24)

Thy blessing is not made with hands
It shows not the gain of comfort
or the shout of triumph
as tanks roll in over the crumbled gates
Thy blessing, O Lord, is immaterial,
ineffable,
bewildering to the evidentiary mob
For they will not have it
Just as we cannot have them.
